These images are from 18th Century Japanese woodcuts and are bordered top and bottom with patterns from chiyogami paper.
The completed images are transferred onto a central bamboo tile. Tube beads, hand-rolled from paper with metallic flecks, are added to the top and bottom.
Your piece is wired with complementary colored wire and a little bead dangle is added for movement.
Handsigned by the artist on the natural bamboo back.
The piece is triple-coated with UV resistant sealer for moisture resistance and durability.
